碩士及本科畢業于伟德客户端光電工程系，2005年在英國西英格蘭大學訪學三個月，2008年7月畢業于伟德客户端信息學院獲博士學位，2012年6月至2013年6月在英國謝菲爾德大學自動控制與系統工程系訪學一年。2018年12月-2019年3月，在加拿大滑鐵盧大學應用數學系訪學三個月。
